TSAS-W: The best tool to assess wound-related pain and symptom management

The Toronto Symptom Assessment System for wounds (TSAS-W) was modeled after the highly successful ESAS tool. Ten metrics, measured using 11 point numeric scales quantify wound-related pain and symptoms. Their summation equates to the Global Wound Related Distress Score. TSAS-W may be used with all wound classes. TSAS-W may be useful to guide clinical care, clinical audits and research.
